I’m just interested in learning about our world and how we all live in it.
When you travel a bit, you often find people that are living in foreign lands to escape life, or you find those that are constantly searching for something, but never knowing what that something may be. I used to think I belonged to the latter, but as I reflect upon that idea, I think my “on the go” and “see as many places as possible” attitude is what may have possessed that notion.
As I sit in my bed in my apartamento in Playa Samara, Guanacaste, I don’t feel as though I am playing a game of hide-n-seek with my life. I simply enjoy living and experiencing new traditions, ideals, languages, food, philosophies, etc. The way others live fascinates me and I’m determined to engage myself in as many ways of life as possible.
For now, I will live in this country, learn and love this life, meet some of the most amazing people I will ever encounter, and never feel guilty for doing so!
